About Us - Overview
Shri B.V.V.S. Institute of Nursing Sciences was established in the year 2000 under the banner of Basaveshwara Vidhya Vardhak Sangha Bagalkot. The College is Affiliated to RGUHS, Recognized by Govt of Karnataka and approved by Karnataka Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council. The institute’s added advantage is BVVS’s Shri Nijalingappa Medical College and H S K Hospital and Research Centre, which serves as a training ground for all nursing students. The hospital is equipped with ultra-modern facilities to give students a contemporary perspective on the medical world. Besides, participation in a variety of community health programmes offers students an understanding of society’s healthcare needs..
The college aims at an educational programme that enhances the students knowledge, skills, abilities and favourable attitudes to qualify as nursing professionals in today’s highly competitive and health conscious society.
The institute has built a strong faculty team to achieve this goal. The faculty members are dedicated, committed and hard-working with years of experience and a deep understanding of society’s healthcare needs.

THE DEPT.OF RACHANA SHARIR :Â has ample facilities for dissection of dead bodies in its dissection hall with attached preservation room etc.
THE DEPT OF ANATOMY:Our college has one of the best anatomy museum which includes all specimens of human body, Bones, fetal developmental stages from 1 week 1o 9 month and also having a number of models, slides, charts & photographs on the subject.
Digital Library Well equipped Digital library for all students for online viewing and research works in Modern sciences. spreading about 2300 sq ft. and internet facilities are provided to them within the campus
